Questions and answers
What is QuantiBot.ai?
QuantiBot.ai is an AI investment research platform that lets you analyze stocks, backtest portfolios, study fundamentals, and explore algorithmic strategies through natural conversation. It's a research and analysis tool for informational and educational purposes — not investment advice.
Can I backtest a portfolio with QuantiBot.ai?
Yes. The portfolio backtesting tool lets you define real or hypothetical portfolios and test them against historical market data — measuring returns, drawdowns, volatility, and risk-adjusted performance across different time periods. Backtests are hypothetical and do not predict or guarantee future results.
Does QuantiBot.ai do AI stock analysis and fundamental analysis?
Yes. You can run AI stock analysis on thousands of stocks and ETFs — including stock fundamental analysis of financial statements, valuation multiples, technical indicators, and company news — and ask follow-up questions in natural language.
Is there an AI stock screener?
Yes. The AI stock screener lets you rank and filter securities by the factors and criteria you define — such as value, quality, momentum, and low volatility — to build a research shortlist. Screener results are a research starting point, not investment advice.
Can I stress test my portfolio against past market crashes?
Yes. The historical stress-testing tools let you replay your holdings or a saved portfolio through past market episodes — and a scenario matrix ranks which historical stress windows hit hardest by drawdown and time to recover. Results are hypothetical and historical, not a prediction of future outcomes.
Can I build and backtest my own algorithmic trading strategy?
Yes. You can define rule-based algorithmic trading strategies — technical, mean-reversion, factor, earnings, sentiment, or your own custom algorithm — in natural language and backtest them across securities and portfolios, with no coding required. Backtests are for research and educational purposes and do not guarantee future results.
Does QuantiBot.ai track my portfolio and recap how it moved?
Yes. You can track your holdings, get a written daily recap of how they moved, and set watchlist and screener alerts. These summaries are informational only and are not investment advice.
Can I compare stocks or analyze correlations?
Yes. You can run peer comparisons across securities on fundamentals and valuation, measure how assets correlate, and break down the sector and factor exposure of a portfolio to study diversification.
What is the portfolio X-ray?
The portfolio X-ray looks through your funds and holdings to show what you actually own — position and sector concentration, the overlap between two funds, and your look-through exposure. It reports what the data shows; every decision about the portfolio stays yours.
What market data does QuantiBot.ai run on?
End-of-day price and volume history for 10,000+ US stocks and ETFs going back to 1999 where available, company fundamentals and financial statements, technical indicators, and company- and market-level news. Analysis and backtests run on that daily market data — there is no black box.
Does QuantiBot.ai give investment advice?
No. QuantiBot.ai is not a broker-dealer or investment adviser. Outputs are for informational and educational purposes only — not investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
